About MaxFlow® Filters Built in Oregon. Proven Worldwide.
MaxFlow began in 1983 as Holeshot Products — a small, high‑performance engineering shop building parts that were, in our own words, “better than they have to be.” That philosophy never changed. It simply found its ultimate expression in chainsaw filtration.
What started as a performance‑driven snowmobile accessory company evolved into a multi‑field manufacturing operation with a single focus: building products that solve real problems for real professionals. Today, MaxFlow filters are used worldwide and trusted in the harshest environments on earth — wildfire operations, out‑West logging, trail work, and severe‑duty forestry.
Made in Oregon — Built In‑House, Start to Finish
MaxFlow Filters is located in Shady Cove, Oregon. We design, engineer, and manufacture everything in‑house:
• Our own CNC programs • Our own injection‑molding tooling • Our own cages, covers, and elements • Our own assembly and quality control
Every MaxFlow product is Made in the USA, built by people who take pride in their work, and supported by a real person who answers the phone.
We don’t outsource innovation. We build it.
A Legacy of Innovation — Nearly 40 Years Strong
MaxFlow (formerly Holeshot Products) has been producing replacement air filters for Stihl® professional saws for nearly four decades. Over that time, we’ve earned the trust of tens of thousands of customers by doing one thing consistently: solving the filtration problems that professionals actually face.
Our filters offer:
• More surface area than stock filters • Nearly 4× the surface area of competing elements • Longer run time between cleanings • Stable airflow in severe dust • Washable, reusable, long‑life performance
MaxFlow filters have saved loggers time, money, and engines for decades — and continue to do so today.
Focused on One Customer: Severe‑Service Professionals
Chainsaw manufacturers must design for the entire world — noise regulations, emissions standards, cost targets, streamlined packaging, and new markets far beyond logging.
MaxFlow doesn’t have to compromise. We design for one customer: the people who work in the worst dust on earth.
Wildfire crews. Fallers. Trail builders. Forestry professionals. Anyone whose saw cannot fail.
That focus is why MaxFlow continues to advance while OEM filtration must balance competing priorities.
Thank You
We are grateful to the tens of thousands of customers who have trusted MaxFlow over the years. Your loyalty, your feedback, and your real‑world experience have shaped every product we make.
